The Core Team behind Pi Network announced updates to the Pi App Studio to help Pioneers create apps, add payments, and boost utility in its latest blog post. The changes aim to make app building faster and more accessible for the community.
The studio will add no-code Pi payment integration so creators can include payments without technical work. Payments are still limited to Test-Pi (Ed. note: payments remain limited to Test-Pi.)
Once deployed to Mainnet, creators can add single-session payment interactions like feature unlocks. The team said persistent cross-session purchases are planned for future updates.
The announcement also introduces a creator event and feedback survey inside the studio. The first 1,000 qualified participants will receive five Pi token credits to use only within the App Studio.
The Pi token fell sharply at the start of the business week and hit about $0.18 on CoinGecko, near its October 2025 all-time low of roughly $0.17. It later recovered above $0.18 but remained over 11 percent lower on the week.
