Humanity Protocol Surges 12% to $0.22 as Trading Volume Spikes; Eyes Key Breakout

-

Humanity Protocol’s H token surged 12% on February 16th, trading near $0.2206 with volume spiking 48% to $112 million. The rally pushed its market cap toward $530 million. Technical analysis shows the token testing a key resistance level at $0.25234, shaped by an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern. Major exchange traders hold a bullish bias, but negative funding rates and recent liquidations highlight underlying volatility risks near this critical price juncture.

Humanity Protocol’s H token traded near $0.2206 on February 16 after a 12% surge in 24 hours. Trading volume climbed nearly 48% to about $112 million, confirming genuine buyer participation.

Buyers returned aggressively, pushing the market cap toward the $530 million range. This rapid inflow of liquidity can attract short-term traders and increase volatility.

The daily chart showed a well-defined inverse head-and-shoulders formation, hinting at a potential structural reversal. H crypto token approached its neckline resistance at $0.25234, a level that capped prior advances.

A decisive daily close above $0.25234 could validate the structure and project toward $0.40000. The RSI, as shown on TradingView, printed 66.49, signaling strengthening momentum.

On Binance, top traders showed clear directional conviction with Long Positions accounting for 61.12%. The Long/Short Ratio read 1.57, reflecting a bullish bias among larger participants.

However, concentrated long exposure increases vulnerability near this resistance. Recent data, provided by CoinGlass, showed $60.01K in long liquidations compared to $18.76K in shorts.

Leading exchanges like Bybit and OKX also recorded heavier long-side pressure. This pattern suggested bulls maintained significant leverage despite short-term swings.

Notably, the OI-Weighted Funding Rate turned slightly negative to -0.0007%. This divergence created a nuanced setup, as sustained rallies typically push funding positive.

Negative funding indicated persistent short positioning or cautious hedging by traders. If the price broke above $0.25234, shorts could face mounting squeeze pressure.

Conversely, repeated rejection at resistance could validate the short stance. The next directional impulse will likely resolve this market imbalance.

Humanity Protocol stood at a pivotal technical level with volume expansion supporting interest. Bulls must secure a strong close above resistance for a viable move toward $0.40000.
