Rapper Nicki Minaj is scheduled to speak at the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) forum hosted at Mar-a-Lago on February 18, 2026. The event, organized by former President Donald Trump’s crypto venture, will gather hundreds of executives from firms like Goldman Sachs and Coinbase. The announcement comes as WLFI faces a U.S. Senate probe into a $500 million foreign investment from a United Arab Emirates-backed entity.
World Liberty Financial has confirmed that rapper Nicki Minaj will speak at its upcoming World Liberty Forum. The invitation-only event is set for February 18th at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach.
The forum is expected to host 300-400 executives, investors, and policymakers. Confirmed attendees include leaders from Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, Coinbase, and Franklin Templeton, as well as Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
Minaj’s appearance marks her clearest public tie to the Trump family’s cryptocurrency ambitions. Her prior involvement in the space was largely promotional, such as endorsing the Happy Hippos NFT collection in 2021.
The event occurs amid scrutiny of WLFI’s corporate dealings. Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Andy Kim have urged the Treasury Department to review a $500 million foreign investment tied to the company.
The senators have asked the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States to assess risks from a 49% stake sale to UAE’s Aryam Investment. That entity is backed by UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Treasury Department is expected to respond to the senators’ request by March 5th. The probe adds a layer of political and regulatory attention to the high-profile crypto forum.
