Bitcoin faced heavy rejection at $76,000 this week, leading to a sharp correction that pushed its price below $70,000. The decline accelerated after the Federal Reserve’s expected decision to hold interest rates, which markets responded to negatively.
This downturn resulted in more than $500 million in liquidated positions across the market. Major altcoins like Ethereum and Ripple’s XRP also declined, losing important support levels.
In contrast, Playnance‘s newly launched native token, GCOIN, is eyeing a $100 million fully diluted valuation. The token reached an $80 million valuation less than 24 hours after its token generation event.
Over 3.2 billion GCOIN tokens are currently locked, with another 1.3 billion staked. This action removes more than 10% of the circulating supply from the market.
GCOIN already has over 200,000 holders and trades on the MEXC exchange. It serves as the utility token for the entire PlayNance ecosystem.
The ecosystem powers an average of 1.5 million on-chain transactions daily using GCOIN for settlement. The underlying infrastructure has been developed over the past five years.
