Cryptocurrency markets experienced minimal volatility over the past day, with Bitcoin consolidating around $67,000. Most major altcoins saw little movement, though VeChain’s VET gained 9% to re-enter the top 100, while HASH incurred the largest loss. Pi Network’s token stabilized above $0.17 after a recent decline.
Bitcoin’s price volatility disappeared, with the asset remaining rangebound around $67,000. Its market capitalization was stable at $1.340 trillion, and its dominance over alts stood at 56.2%. Most larger-cap altcoins performed similarly, with little to no movements from Ethereum, XRP, BNB, SOL, and DOGE.
The only substantial fluctuations from the largest 30 altcoins came from RAIN, HBAR, UNI, and ETC. RAIN plunged by over 6% to under $0.0075, while ETC surged 3.5% to $8.30. Pi Network’s native token halted its freefall and is now trading at over $0.17.
Meanwhile, HASH has plunged by 10%, while VET has gained 9% daily. The total crypto market cap stands essentially at the same spot as yesterday, at just under $2.4 trillion.
