Global liquidity, Russell 2000 alignment flashes 2021-style breakout signal for Ether move

-

Sykodelic identifies a repeating pattern tying global liquidity, the Russell 2000, and Ether. The sequence typically goes liquidity, Russell breakout, then a delayed ETH breakout in weeks (Ed. note: this mirrors a 119-day lag seen in 2021).

In 2021, ETH rallied about 226% after the same order occurred. The move began near 119 days after the Russell confirmed its breakout.

The Russell 2000 recently reached an all-time high of 2,738, signaling small-cap leadership. Max, CEO of BecauseBitcoin, said the index often leads ETH into price discovery.

Onchain metrics show accumulation addresses’ realized price rising near $2,720, marking structural support. According to CryptoQuant data, this realized price has historically acted as strong support for holders.

If ETH revisits the realized-price zone, analysts estimate downside of roughly 7% to near $2,720. A related view appears on the TradingView chart cited in the analysis.
