Grayscale Lists 30+ Tokens ‘Under Consideration’ as Potential Crypto ETFs; Bonk, BNB Named

-

On Jan. 12, 2026, Grayscale updated an online list naming more than 30 digital assets as potential ETF candidates. According to Grayscale, “Assets Under Consideration lists digital assets not currently included in a Grayscale investment product but identified by our team as possible candidates for inclusion in a future product.”

The list highlights tokens such as BNB, Bonk, Hype, and Kaito. It also includes Aptos, Arbitrum, Monad, Polkadot, and Toncoin as potential candidates.

Grayscale grouped assets by theme and noted consumer-focused and tech-focused categories. The firm placed Bonk under consumer and culture and flagged AI or tech coins like Flock, Grass, and Kaito for consideration (Ed. note: the list contains over thirty assets).

The update appeared alongside a social post linking to the full report. Grayscale posted on Twitter stating “Learn about the diverse digital assets we’re considering for future investment products and explore those already part of our offerings in our latest Assets Under Consideration update.”

ETFs grew rapidly in 2025 and widened retail access to crypto markets. As Investing explains, “These investments allow retail traders to gain direct exposure to crypto prices without owning the assets directly.”
