Helium Usage Soars with 2M Daily Users in Q4 2025 Despite 43.9% HNT Price Drop

-

The Helium network achieved record operational growth in Q4 2025, expanding internationally and surpassing 2 million daily users for the first time. Data offloaded by carrier partners jumped over 60% to 4,388 terabytes. Despite this strong usage growth, the price and market capitalization of the network’s native token, HNT, fell sharply, aligning with a broader crypto market decline.

The decentralized wireless network Helium recorded strong operational growth in the fourth quarter of 2025 while expanding beyond the United States for the first time. The network partnered with Mambo WiFi to introduce carrier offload services in Brazil, adding more than 40,000 access points.

Helium recorded over 2 million daily users for the first time, with a peak of 2.5 million on December 20. Data offloaded by carriers rose by 60.7% quarter-over-quarter to 4,388 terabytes, and mobile subscribers rose to about 595,800.

Despite the network’s growth, the price of Helium’s native token, HNT, declined in Q4. The token’s market value declined by 43.9%, reducing from $453.9 million to $254.7 million, with the price declining from $2.44 to $1.37.

The decline, the report stated, was not related to network activity, as the number of daily users and Data Credit usage increased. The decline correlated with the overall decline in the crypto market, as it declined by 23.7% in Q4.

Data credits remained significant in the Helium network’s economy, with each credit worth $0.00001. By the end of Q4 2025, the cumulative value of burned data credits reached $11.4 million, with daily expenditure rising 83.6% to $56,760.

Helium’s carrier partnerships, which include Movistar, AT&T, Google Orion, and Wefi, drove significant traffic growth. In Q4 of 2025 alone, the network offloaded 4,388 terabytes of carrier traffic, bringing the total since launch to 9,839 terabytes.

Daily mobile paid traffic averaged 52.9% quarter-over-quarter growth, reaching 49.6 terabytes. Helium Mobile also gained more users, with daily signups averaging 11.1% more and total signups reaching 595,800.
