The price of Pi Network’s native token, PI, saw a notable recovery, challenging the $0.20 mark after a volatile week. The rebound follows a series of ecosystem updates announced on March 14, 2026, known as Pi Day, including the protocol’s migration to version 20.2 and the Testnet release of the Pi Launchpad.
After several days of sharp declines, the price of Pi Network‘s native token has turned positive, challenging the $0.20 level. This bounce coincides with a broader market resurgence and new updates from the project’s Core Team.
The asset experienced extreme volatility recently, surging nearly 30% to a five-month peak near $0.30. This spike occurred after the U.S. exchange Kraken announced it would list PI for trading. The rally reversed quickly, however, with the token dropping below $0.20 over the weekend before its current 4% daily gain.
The Core Team introduced several key updates on Pi Day. They successfully migrated the protocol to version 20.2 and released the initial version of the Pi Launchpad on Testnet, accessible through the Pi Browser.
“The initial version of the Pi Launchpad has been released as a Pi App on the Testnet with a test token!” stated the official Pi Network account. The Launchpad aims to introduce a new ecosystem token model focused on product utility and user acquisition.
Other developments included the start of the second Mainnet migrations and the release of the first round of KYC validator rewards. The team also integrated Pi payments into the Pi App Studio.
