Robinhood has launched a premium credit card, the Platinum Card, targeting affluent travelers. The card costs $695 annually and offers benefits including high cash-back rates on travel and dining, lifestyle credits, and unlimited airport lounge access.
Robinhood Money has entered the premium credit card market with the Robinhood Platinum Card, an invite-only product announced in March 2026. The card carries a $695 annual fee and is physically plated in 99.9% pure platinum, according to the company.
General Manager Deepak Rao stated the card aims to raise expectations for premium credit benefits. “The Platinum Card offers higher limits, elite rewards and luxury benefits, and raises the bar for what customers should expect from a premium credit card,” he said.
The card’s rewards structure provides 5% cash back on flights and dining, and 10% back on hotels and rental cars. Cardholders also receive an estimated $3,000 in annual value from various credits and complimentary memberships.
These benefits include $250 in DoorDash credit, $250 for autonomous rides, a $200 health wearables credit, and a Global Entry fee reimbursement. Unlimited Priority Pass airport lounge access and complimentary subscriptions to services like Amazon One Medical and Oura are also included.
The company continues to offer its no-annual-fee Robinhood Gold Card, which provides a flat 3% cash back on all purchases. Rao emphasized the new card’s distinct positioning for frequent travelers during its launch. “We want you to travel in style,” he remarked, outlining the premium travel perks.
