The total crypto market capitalization recovered $40 billion, now standing above $2.4 trillion, while the SIREN token continued its outperformance with an 8% increase.
After a weekend with minimal price action, bitcoin exhibited significant volatility early Monday. The cryptocurrency dipped to a new monthly low just under $65,000 before staging a rapid recovery towards $68,000.
Its market cap has stabilized around $1.350 trillion, with its dominance over alternative assets standing at just over 56%.
Ethereum reacted positively to the market movements, rebounding by 3% from its Sunday position. The asset now trades above $2,050, having dipped below $1,950 earlier in the day.
Other large-capitalization altcoins like BNB, XRP, SOL, TRX, DOGE, and ADA also registered slight daily gains. In contrast, HYPE declined by 4%, and BCH remains down 6% following a flash crash.
Additional gains were seen from ZEC, SHIB, UNI, NEAR, and SKY. The SIREN token continues to outperform the broader altcoin market with another 8% surge, bringing its price close to $1.80.
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization has added $40 billion since Sunday. The aggregate value now sits above $2.4 trillion.
