Elon Musk confirmed that X Money will launch its early public access as soon as next month. The financial app, developed by the social media platform X, aims to bring payment services directly to users. Its potential support for cryptocurrencies remains a key unanswered question, given Musk’s history of influencing crypto markets.
Elon Musk posted on his platform to reveal that X Money’s early public access launch will take place as soon as next month. “𝕏 Money early public access will launch next month,” he stated.
The much-anticipated financial app is planned and developed by the popular social media platform X. Musk’s vision of transforming social media into an “everything app” has been gradually taking shape with this development.
Up until this moment, Musk said the app was running in a closed internal beta. Early screenshots from actor William Shatner suggested features like a debit card with cashback and payment tools.
One of the biggest questions surrounding X Money is whether it will support cryptocurrencies. Musk has frequently influenced crypto markets through comments about Dogecoin and Bitcoin integrations. He recently amplified a post describing potential services, including crypto support, and commented that the overall initiative would be big. There is, however, no official confirmation of whether such integrations will be featured.
