Ripple’s XRP token has rallied alongside a broader cryptocurrency market rebound, gaining 5.5% in 24 hours. Despite this, its price remains significantly lower than its April 2025 level. Market analysts suggest the current geopolitical climate and Bitcoin’s price action near key resistance will determine if this represents a final buying opportunity below $1.40.
Ripple’s XRP token has recorded gains of 5.5% over 24 hours, 3.4% over a week, and 2.8% over the previous month, according to CoinGecko’s XRP data. Despite this upswing, the asset remains 27.7% lower than its value in April 2025. The token’s latest rally is attributed to a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which has boosted investor confidence.
XRP last traded above the $1.40 level on March 26 and has since faced resistance near $1.35. If the market rally continues, this could be the final opportunity to purchase XRP under $1.40 for the current cycle. However, the ceasefire is temporary, and renewed geopolitical tensions could trigger another market correction.
Furthermore, Bitcoin is approaching a significant resistance zone between $72,000 and $73,000. “If BTC cannot breach past the $73,000 mark, the larger market, XRP included, could face a price consolidation,” the report states. This macroeconomic factor adds uncertainty to XRP’s short-term price trajectory.
CoinCodex analysts are slightly bullish on XRP, forecasting a range between $1.35 and $1.54 in the coming months. Their data projects a rise to approximately $1.62 by late June 2026, based on current market conditions.
