Solana Mobile launches SKR airdrop for Seeker users —2B tokens, staking with 48h inflation

Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, launched an airdrop of the SKR token on Wednesday for owners of its Web3 smartphone, the Solana Seeker (announced). Eligible users have 90 days to claim tokens; at least 100,000 users and 188 developers qualify, with nearly 2 billion SKR distributed worth about $26.6 million.

The Seeker phone, released in August 2025, runs Android and targets crypto users with a dedicated dApp store. It succeeds the Solana Saga, which debuted in 2022.

SKR is an SPL token with a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens, built for governance, rewards, and security incentives. Market data shows SKR rose about 38% at launch to $0.013, with a circulating supply of 5.7 billion and a market cap near $81 million.

Claimed SKR can be staked to earn rewards on the Solana Mobile staking platform. “Staked SKR starts earning immediately, with inflation events every 48 hours and 0% commission upon launch,” Solana Mobile said.
