Arbitrum ARB rebounds with bullish momentum amid expanding RWA role

-

Arbitrum (ARB) is showing a technical rebound after a sharp correction, with key indicators suggesting renewed buyer interest. The token recently reclaimed its 20-period moving average and traded near $0.16, while a bullish MACD crossover signals improving short-term momentum. Analyst Crypto Patel noted the move delivered nearly 200% gains from an earlier setup. However, derivatives data from Coinglass shows a decline in trading volume and open interest, signaling cautious market participation. Beyond the price action, Arbitrum’s growing role in real-world asset tokenization, highlighted by its support for rTokens and integration with exchanges like Bitget, adds a fundamental layer to its broader outlook.

Arbitrum (ARB) has rebounded from a steep correction that followed its early-September rally, drawing renewed attention from market participants. The token is currently attempting to strengthen its recovery, though near-term resistance levels remain a key focus.

Analyst Crypto Patel highlighted the token’s performance, stating that ARB “climbed above $0.16 and briefly surpassed $0.20, delivering nearly 200% gains from the highlighted setup.” Patel described it as a high-conviction trade and outlined longer-term targets.

TradingView data shows ARB rose sharply from roughly $0.09 to $0.21 before heavy selling pressure pushed it down to approximately $0.13 by September 14. The token has since stabilized, reclaiming its 20-period moving average near $0.15070 and recovering toward resistance around $0.17583.

Momentum indicators are improving, with the MACD histogram shifting toward bullish conditions. The MACD line moving above the signal line suggests short-term momentum is strengthening after the recent weakness.

Despite the technical advancements, derivatives activity has cooled. According to Coinglass, trading volume fell by 25.47% to $922 million, and open interest declined by 4.90% to $224 million.

This reduction in leverage may be beneficial, but it also indicates that traders are waiting for clearer signals before committing more capital. The next directional move for ARB will likely depend on whether buyers can sustain the rally above local resistance levels.

Beyond price action, Arbitrum is developing a narrative around real-world asset (RWA) infrastructure. Data shows that Bitget is among the top exchanges supporting the network, which has over 120 million global users.

Arbitrum One is also a major platform for rTokens, positioning the network as a neutral liquidity hub for blockchain-based finance. These fundamental developments provide additional context for traders watching the token’s technical revival.
