Shiba Inu (SHIB) has struggled to gain momentum since late 2024. The token hit $0.000032 in December 2024 but has since declined significantly, gaining an additional zero after its decimal by November 2025. Bitcoin‘s recent rally to $80,000 briefly lifted SHIB to $0.000006, though both have since corrected. Wall Street firms Bernstein and Standard Chartered predict Bitcoin could reach $100,000 to $126,000 by year-end. If such a rally materializes, SHIB might reach $0.00001 and delete a zero. However, potential Treasury liquidity outflows and Bitcoin‘s uncertain momentum pose risks to this outcome.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been unable to sustain upward momentum since late 2024. The dog-themed cryptocurrency reached $0.000032 in December 2024 but has traded lower since.
By November 2025, SHIB gained an additional zero after its decimal point. The token currently faces significant challenges to eliminate that zero.
Bitcoin recently staged a strong rally, reaching $80,000 after months of difficulty. That movement pulled the broader cryptocurrency market higher.
SHIB briefly reclaimed $0.000006, as data from CoinGecko shows. However, Bitcoin has since dipped to approximately $78,000, and SHIB has followed with a correction of its own.
The price movements indicate SHIB is currently trading in close correlation with Bitcoin. Wall Street firms Bernstein and Standard Chartered anticipate Bitcoin reaching $100,000 by the end of this year.
Bernstein predicts Bitcoin could hit $125,000. Standard Chartered forecasts Bitcoin will test its previous peak of $126,000.
A scenario where Bitcoin reaches $100,000 could potentially push SHIB to the $0.00001 price level or beyond. Several challenges remain for Shiba Inu, however.
The recent cryptocurrency market rally was likely fueled by President Trump‘s statement that the United States may purchase a large amount of cryptocurrencies. The U.S. Treasury‘s decision to increase bond buybacks also contributed to the rally.
The Treasury will eventually need to refill its coffers, which could cause liquidity to flow out of the crypto market. Such an outflow could lead SHIB and other cryptocurrencies to face a price decline.
If Bitcoin‘s rally falters, SHIB will likely not delete a zero. The token’s trajectory remains tied to Bitcoin‘s performance.
