Cardano (ADA) is trading at $0.2132 with a 24-hour trading volume of $796.2 million and a market capitalization of $7.83 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. The price has declined by 3.88% in the last 24 hours.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel stated that Cardano’s ADA is gaining strong bullish momentum after surging more than 80% from the previously identified accumulation zone. The analyst highlighted long-term targets of $1, $3, and $10, though these remain speculative and not guaranteed.
Technical analysis from TradingView shows ADA experienced a sharp summer decline from around $0.2600 in May to a low near $0.1400 in July, followed by a steady recovery. The price is currently trading at approximately $0.2138, maintaining its position above the 20, 50, and 100 exponential moving averages. However, resistance from the upper Bollinger Band at $0.2375 and the 200 EMA at $0.2435 could challenge further upside.
Coinglass data indicates that trading volume has risen by 26.15% to $796.52 million, while open interest declined by 5.96% to $454.39 million. This suggests increased market participation but with lower leverage, possibly due to profit-taking.
In a development for mass adoption, ChatterPay announced its expansion into the Cardano ecosystem. “We’re excited to announce that we’re expanding ChatterPay into the Cardano ecosystem,” the company stated. “Now +2B people can send ADA, USDCx, USDM, USDA directly on WhatsApp. No new apps.”
The integration allows users to send ADA and compatible stablecoins via WhatsApp without needing additional apps. This approach aims to introduce cryptocurrencies to users through familiar communication methods, potentially supporting wider real-world crypto payment adoption.
