Chainlink introduced CCIP 2.0 at Sibos 2026 to help institutions distribute tokenized assets across public and private blockchains without rebuilding existing infrastructure. Meanwhile, Grayscale’s Chainlink ETF received 159,480 LINK tokens valued at $2.36 million from Coinbase Prime, bringing its monthly accumulation to at least 629,100 LINK. LINK price is testing the $14 support level after declining from $15.7, with analyst Trader Symba suggesting a potential move to $17 if resistance breaks.
Chainlink introduced CCIP 2.0 during Sibos 2026 as part of its institutional tokenization infrastructure. The upgrade allows institutions to move tokenized assets across networks while maintaining existing security, compliance, and settlement requirements.
CCIP 2.0 includes cross-chain verifiers, configurable confirmation settings, modular fee structures, and integration with Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine. These features aim to give institutions greater control over cross-chain asset distribution.
Grayscale’s Chainlink ETF received 159,480 LINK tokens, worth approximately $2.36 million, from Coinbase Prime. This brings the ETF’s total monthly accumulation to at least 629,100 LINK, valued at $8.37 million.
Blockchain transfers through ETFs may reflect custody, settlement, or fund management activities rather than direct purchase intent. The transfer indicates movement of LINK into the ETF but does not specify the motive behind the acquisition.
LINK is currently trading around $14.4, after declining from the $15.7 range. The $14 zone now serves as a key support level in the ongoing consolidation phase.
Crypto analyst Trader Symba sees the Stochastic RSI forming a bottom alongside price, which could lead to a further breakout. Symba expects LINK to rise to $17 if the token breaks above current levels, noting this is a speculative scenario.
To the upside, the recent $15.7 region represents initial resistance. Clearing that level would bring the latest rally high into focus, while weakness below support could add weight to the structure. Traders are watching for momentum measures to confirm directional movement.
