JPMorgan Predicts 2026 Crypto Surge as $130B Inflows Fuel Bitcoin’s Quest for New Highs…

-

JPMorgan projects rising capital inflows into the crypto market for 2026 after nearly $130 billion flowed in during 2025. The firm says the market shows early signs of recovery following last October’s crash.

Jamie Dimon long resisted cryptocurrencies, but the bank expanded offerings after investor demand increased. The move reflected growing institutional interest across the sector.

Bernstein and Grayscale also anticipate a 2026 surge, arguing Bitcoin follows a five-year cycle that could peak this year. Bernstein forecasts Bitcoin may reach about $150,000 in 2026.

Barclays offers a contrary view, warning of headwinds from weak spot trading and falling demand. Its outlook signals potential near-term pressure on prices.

Bitcoin briefly rose above $97,000 for the first time since November 2025, a move some observers see as an early bullish signal. Persistent macroeconomic concerns keep many investors risk-averse, leaving the crypto market vulnerable until broader risk appetite returns.
