Kraken sets Aug 27 withdrawal deadline for 21 delisted tokens, liquidation by Sept 5

-

Kraken has set an August 27, 2026, deadline for users to withdraw funds from 21 delisted cryptocurrencies, including FARM, NYM, and MOON. After that date, any remaining balances will be automatically liquidated between September 1 and September 5. The exchange warns that low liquidity in several of these assets may result in liquidation proceeds far below recent reference prices. Trading and deposits for these tokens were halted on May 29, leaving withdrawals as the only option. One token, TEER, has ceased operations entirely, making on-chain transactions impossible. Investors must act before the deadline to avoid losing their holdings.

Users holding any of the 21 delisted cryptocurrencies on Kraken must withdraw those funds by August 27, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. After this deadline, all remaining balances will be liquidated automatically between September 1 and September 5.

The list includes tokens such as FARM, NYM, MOON, SAROS, SPICE, and TEA. Trading and deposits for these assets were stopped on May 29, making withdrawal the only remaining option.

According to Kraken, holders must withdraw or convert their holdings “before the liquidation date” to avoid losing funds. Once the withdrawal window closes, no transfers will be possible.

Data from TradingView shows that Harvest Finance (FARM) fell sharply in May following the delisting and has since consolidated near the $5 mark. Low trading volumes indicate limited market participation, highlighting the challenges small tokens face after losing exchange support.

Kraken notes that “several of these assets have limited or inactive markets,” which could influence liquidation results. The exchange adds that “liquidation prices might be considerably lower than the recent reference prices,” potentially yielding very little proceeds under poor liquidity conditions.

Investors should focus on the approaching deadline rather than price direction. The token TEER presents an additional difficulty, as Kraken has informed that the project has ceased operations and on-chain transactions are impossible.

With just over two weeks remaining, the key question is whether investors will withdraw their holdings or leave their balances to the exchange’s liquidation process.
