Morgan Stanley boosts Bitcoin ETF holdings amid positive inflows, BTC holds support

-

Morgan Stanley’s MSBT Bitcoin ETF added 51.58 BTC worth approximately $4 million from Coinbase Prime, extending a two-week accumulation pattern that brought total holdings to 641.87 BTC ($50.6 million). The institutional buying continued as Bitcoin consolidated below $82,000 resistance. Meanwhile, Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded $6 million in daily net inflows, with cumulative inflows reaching $55.63 billion. Exchange spot netflows remained negative, with the latest reading of -$6.66 million on September 12, indicating supply withdrawal. Bitcoin traded near $77,257, holding above the $76,500 support level. The RSI cooled to 55.02, staying above neutral.

The transfers showed several additions during the period rather than a single large transaction. The pattern became notable as Bitcoin remained beneath its recent $82,000 resistance.

Beyond Morgan Stanley, Bitcoin spot ETFs registered $6 million in daily total net inflows, equivalent to approximately 78.39 BTC. Cumulative net inflows stood at nearly $55.63 billion, representing about 695,820 BTC.

These positive flows indicated that institutional demand extended beyond MSBT’s accumulation. The daily figure remained relatively modest compared with the total cumulative inflow.

Exchange Bitcoin spot netflows remained predominantly negative across the displayed period. The most recent reading on September 12 showed a netflow of -$6.66 million, continuing the broader pattern of frequent spot outflows.

The negative figure suggested that withdrawals exceeded deposits. This trend limited immediate supply pressure as institutional players continued accumulating Bitcoin.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin traded near $77,257 after retreating from the $82,000 resistance area and returning toward its daily order block. The price held above the $76,500 support, keeping the demand structure intact.

The RSI indicator stood at 55.02, while the RSI average signal remained higher at 63.71. Buying strength had cooled, but the indicator stayed above the neutral 50 level as BTC defended the order block.
