Nvidia Stock on Path to $300 as Analysts See It as a Stepping Stone

-

The question of when Nvidia stock will hit $300 is currently one of the most searched among investors. With the stock trading around $207, the average analyst price target from 60 analysts tracked is $269.17, with a high target reaching $380. CEO Jensen Huang’s projection of $1 trillion in revenue from Blackwell and Rubin chips through 2027, alongside sustained high demand and net margins of 54%, underpins the bullish outlook. Analysts treat the $300 mark as a probable waypoint on the longer-term path for Nvidia.

Analysts are closely watching the trajectory for Nvidia stock as it trades around $207. The average price target across 60 analysts stands at $269.17, with a high target of $380, according to consensus data.

The forecast is driven by extraordinary revenue growth, from $27 billion in FY2023 to nearly $216 billion in FY2026. Consensus now points to $480 billion by FY2028, with projections reaching $575 billion by 2029 if growth continues.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressed significant confidence at the annual GTC developer conference. “I expect Nvidia to hit $1 trillion in revenue from its Blackwell and Rubin chips alone through 2027,” he stated.

Demand for the Blackwell architecture is a primary force fueling the current rally, with hyperscalers like Microsoft and Google ordering aggressively. The company’s data center revenue reached record levels in FY2026, supported by the CUDA ecosystem’s switching costs that lock in customers.

The financial math is grounded in high net margins, which reached 54% in FY2026. Applying a conservative trailing P/E of 25x to projected net income could imply a market cap near $7.5 trillion, suggesting significant upside from current levels.

Looking further ahead, analyst estimates for 2030 range from around $370 to $900 or higher in aggressive models. Structural drivers include the shift to AI inference demand and Sovereign AI, which generated over $30 billion in revenue for Nvidia in FY2026 alone.

Potential risks include export restrictions, geopolitical disruptions, and a slowdown in hyperscaler capital spending. However, with the current average price target at $269.17, the path to $300 appears clearer than it did a year ago.
