Pi Network (PI) has recovered from July lows, trading at $0.09099 as it approaches the key $0.10–$0.11 resistance zone. A Pi App Studio pricing update on August 24 aims to incentivize developers to create apps with real utility, moving away from a flat 0.25 PI fee. Analysts note a double bottom formation with support at $0.07–$0.08, and a breakout above $0.11 could open the path toward $0.12 and $0.15. Network development continues with Protocol 26 on Mainnet and Protocol 27 testing on Testnet.
Pi Network has seen a price recovery from July lows, with PI currently trading at $0.09099 as buyers attempt to build on the rebound. The token finished at $0.095 on August 21 after testing levels around $0.096, shifting focus to the key resistance zone between $0.10 and $0.11.
A major upcoming event is the pricing update in the Pi App Studio, scheduled for August 24. According to Pi Network, the update will end the greatly reduced cost of creating and editing applications at 0.25 PI, and future pricing will reflect the AI each application uses. Applications that demonstrate real usage can receive subsidies, incentivizing developers to create apps that attract actual users rather than experiments.
Analyst Kim H. Wong noted the bounce in PI from $0.07070 to $0.09634 between July 14 and August 21, resulting in a profit of about 36%. He believes better market conditions could allow PI to head toward $0.12. Analyst Crypto With Gopal highlighted a more bullish technical view, stating that PI is forming a double bottom formation as buyers defend the $0.07–$0.08 range. The important resistance zone is at $0.11, and breaking this zone could confirm a reversal and allow a rally toward $0.15.
Network development continues alongside the price action. Protocol 26 has already been implemented on Mainnet, while Protocol 27 is undergoing testing via Testnet, with the update scheduled for September 15. Node 0.6.2 is also available, including upgrades to SoloHost, connectivity, and Pi Desktop, along with developments in testing the use of Pi Node for distributed computing. The combination of improved technical structure, ecosystem updates, and future application upgrades may make the $0.10–$0.11 range critical for PI’s trajectory.
