Solana’s SOL token is trading near $103, up 9% over the past week, with its highest weekly close in seven months. Spot SOL ETFs have seen nine consecutive days of inflows, the longest streak since May, while Bitwise’s BSOL surpassed $1 billion in assets under management. Analysts are divided on the next move, with some targeting $120 and one predicting a drop to $80. Historically, September has been favorable, with SOL closing higher in five of the past six years.
Solana’s native token (SOL) continues to outperform major cryptocurrencies, trading near $103 after a 9% weekly gain. The token closed the previous week at roughly $102.80, its highest weekly close in seven months, according to CoinGecko data.
X user Ash Crypto noted the price milestone, writing: “Bullish for Solana holders.” Institutional demand is also rising, with spot SOL exchange-traded funds recording nine consecutive days of inflows, the longest streak since May this year.
The products are offered by issuers including Bitwise, Fidelity, Grayscale, VanEck, and Franklin Templeton. Bitwise’s BSOL recently surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, making it the most popular spot SOL ETF in the group.
Market observers have begun sharing price predictions. Carl Hawley claimed that if momentum holds, $120 could be the next important level to watch in the coming weeks. The Black Bull argued that SOL is a $1,000 token trading at $102, envisioning a “massive pump” on the way.
A more cautious outlook comes from Crypto with Harris ₿, who claimed that closing the week above the $98–$100 range is “a very strong sign that the recent move is more than just a short-term pump.” The analyst forecasted a jump to $120, which could be followed by a drop toward $80.
“One thing is clear: the bottom is not in,” the analyst added.
Historical patterns may support further upside. September has been highly beneficial for SOL in recent years, with prices finishing in the green in five of the past six September months. The only red September occurred in 2020, when SOL crashed by almost 40%.
