Standard Chartered: Ethereum to hit $7,500 in 2026, $30K by 2029 and $40K by 2030 official

-

Standard Chartered strategist Geoffrey Kendrick projects Ethereum (ETH) will reach $7,500 in 2026 in the crypto market. He also forecasts $30,000 by 2029 and $40,000 by 2030 as further milestones.

The $7,500 target implies about a 140% rally from current levels, the report states. Standard Chartered nonetheless reduced its prior price view while keeping a bullish long-term outlook.

“2026 will be the year of Ethereum, much like 2021 was”, said Geoffrey Kendrick. Ethereum turned bullish in mid-2025 and hit a $4,946 high in August 2025 before falling about 37%.

According to CoinGecko data, ETH rallied 6.3% on the 14-day chart and 0.4% on the monthly chart. It was down 1.1% in the last 24 hours and 2.9% over the previous week.

The crypto market remains fragile and is tracking a broader downtrend. Investors have shifted into gold and silver, which hit multiple all-time highs recently, though trends could change if the wider economy improves.
