BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led Tuesday’s inflows with $350.35 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund registered approximately $257.42 million. The Morgan Stanley Bitcoin ETF saw around $99.01 million in inflows. On Monday, BlackRock’s IBIT led with $381.4 million, followed by ARKB at $289.1 million and Fidelity’s FBTC at $238.8 million.

The most recent money flows came as Bitcoin’s price climbed above the $81,722 ETF cost basis estimate compiled by Bloomberg Intelligence. Analyst James Seyffart revealed that the average U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF investor was once again profitable for the first time in months after Bitcoin climbed above that threshold.

Bitcoin traded around $86,183 on September 22, compared to $80,874 on September 18, and briefly climbed above $87,000, according to CoinGecko. The inflows occurred during a previously weaker period for fund flows, with Bitcoin ETFs seeing only about $6.2 million in net inflows the prior week.

Analysts cited risk-on sentiment, increased ETF demand, and short covering as reasons for the uptrend, as noted by The Block quoting Presto Research’s Min Jung. Santiment reported that Bitcoin’s market capitalization increased 36% from August 18, while the S&P 500 gained 0.8% and gold declined 1.5% over the same period.

Demand extended beyond Bitcoin, with U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recording $162.31 million in net inflows on September 22. BlackRock’s ETHA led with $88.13 million, followed by Fidelity’s FETH with $33.64 million. Bitcoin’s market capitalization stood at approximately $1.74 trillion as of September 22, with daily trading volumes above $61 billion.
