Ethereum traded near $3,300 as the network saw a surge in new wallet registrations in January 2026. Over the past week the chain averaged about 327.1K new wallets per day, including a 393.6K day on Sunday, the highest ever, as stated (Ed. note: 393.6K is the single-day record).
BREAKING: Ethereum’s new wallet growth has reached new all-time high levels. Santiment said the early December 2025 Fusaka upgrade lowered costs and made posting rollup data back to Ethereum cheaper, which encouraged new users.
Record stablecoin activity showed real utility on the network. Stablecoin transfers totaled about $8 trillion in Q4, a level that drew participants who send, receive, or hold tokens.
According to CoinCodex, short-term indicators show neutral sentiment and a Fear & Greed score near 48. ETH is forecasted to rise by 11.98% and reach $3,754.67 by February 13, 2026.
