Both institutions maintain buy ratings on the stock. The optimism follows AMD’s announcement of an $8.2 billion acquisition of World Labs, a spatial intelligence specialist. AMD has delivered strong revenue and earnings growth over the past year, reaching a new all-time high of $615.52 last week. The company’s market cap surpassed $1 trillion for the first time before the stock corrected to approximately $607 amid broader market uncertainty.

Wells Fargo has reiterated its $700 price target for AMD, representing a 15.21% upside from current levels. Bank of America has revised its outlook to $720, an 18.50% upside, with both firms maintaining buy ratings.

Wall Street’s optimism follows AMD‘s announcement of an $8.2 billion acquisition of World Labs, a company specializing in spatial intelligence. The deal is expected to further advance AMD‘s artificial intelligence initiatives.

AMD has posted substantial gains in revenue and earnings per share over the past year, with analysts expecting continued growth. The company’s latest Helios chips are projected to drive higher revenue in the upcoming quarter.

The stock recently rallied to an all-time high of $615.52, while AMD‘s market cap exceeded the $1 trillion mark for the first time in its history. The shares have since corrected to the $607 level and may enter a sideways trajectory given overarching economic conditions.

The Federal Reserve raised interest rates earlier this month to combat rising inflation amid volatile oil prices. The US and Iran have yet to reach a deal, leaving oil prices potentially unstable.

The ongoing expansion of AI data centers is expected to continue supporting AMD‘s financial performance, with the company anticipated to sustain its upward trajectory for the time being.
