-

Ethereum is trading at $1,871.19, down 0.71% in 24 hours, with a market capitalization of roughly $226.28 billion and daily volume near $12.89 billion. Analyst Crypto Patel has identified a bullish long-term structure despite recent weakness, citing a breakout zone between $3,400 and $4,400. ETH remains below its 20-day, 100-day, and 200-day simple moving averages while holding support at the 50-day SMA of $1,823.87. The analyst’s long-term targets include $10,000, $20,000, and $50,000, though the current technical picture remains mixed with RSI near neutral at 49.82.

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel noted on August 14, 2026, that Ethereum’s three-week macro structure remains bullish. ETH has continued to honor an ascending macro trendline despite a liquidity sweep into the accumulation range.

Patel identified the $3,400–$4,400 area as the primary breakout zone, with a move above this region signaling a shift in market structure. Following a breakout, targets include $10,000, then $20,000 or beyond, with the $50,000 objective considered a distant long-term target.

Ethereum’s immediate technical signals appear less favorable. ETH trades below its 20-day SMA at $1,891.87, its 100-day SMA at $1,879.47, and its 200-day SMA at $2,024.18.

The 50-day simple moving average at $1,823.87 is currently serving as close support. Staying above this level is crucial for ETH to build a base for another comeback attempt.

The RSI stands at 49.82, just below the neutral 50 mark and below its RSI average of 52.55. In the short term, the $1,823–$1,900 range remains the key area to monitor.

If ETH stays above the 50-day SMA, it could push toward the $1,900 level, but the larger technical obstacle remains the $3,400–$4,400 resistance zone. The current technical setup does not yet support the idea of a successful breakout, despite the positive long-term outlook.
