The crypto-aligned super PAC, Fairshake, has announced a $5 million media campaign to support the Senate bid of Representative Barry Moore in Alabama. The campaign, run by its affiliate Defend American Jobs, will feature ads with an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. Moore, who holds a “strongly supportive” rating from a crypto advocacy group, is in a competitive primary race.

An affiliate of the crypto super political action committee Fairshake will spend $5 million to support politician Barry Moore in his U.S. Senate primary race. The five-week campaign, reported by Bloomberg on Tuesday, will feature broadcast and Fox News Channel ads with an endorsement from former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Super PACs raise money from corporations but cannot directly donate to campaigns. “We are proud to stand with Barry Moore, a leader who will fight for economic growth and make America the crypto capital,” Fairshake reportedly said in a statement. The PAC is backed by crypto companies including Coinbase and Ripple Labs.

Fairshake spent roughly $130 million during the 2024 U.S. elections. Its total cash reserves ahead of the 2026 midterms were disclosed in January as $193 million.

Moore was first elected to the U.S. House in 2020 and served on the House Agriculture Committee. That committee included the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act on its agenda last year.

He has expressed crypto-friendly views, stating in a past social media post, “Crypto is not a fad. It is part of our future.” A recent survey of Republican voters found Moore polling at about 17%, trailing Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall.

Both candidates have a rating of “strongly supportive” of crypto according to data compiled by the advocacy organization Stand With Crypto. The U.S. midterm primary elections are held in May, followed by the general election on November 3.
