IDTrust targets compliance with the European Union’s eIDAS 2.0 and AI Act regulations. THG claims the solution can verify credentials up to 90% faster than normal processes and cut identity security problems by 85%, though this data has not yet been verified.
For Hedera, this partnership represents another enterprise use case for its distributed ledger technology beyond cryptocurrency. Separately, Hedera has joined the UK Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Taskforce, chaired by Christopher Woolard CBE. The taskforce focuses on developing wholesale digital markets, including tokenized repos, interoperability, and settlement finality.
