Humanity Protocol’s token (H) surged over 15% in 24 hours, driven by significant exchange withdrawals and a spike in social sentiment. However, the altcoin remains down 23% for the week, and its rally faces a critical test from an upcoming token unlock scheduled for September 25th.
Humanity Protocol (H) experienced a sharp price increase of more than 15% in the past day, yet its weekly performance remains deeply negative, with over 23% of its market value erased in the last seven days.
Data from Arkham indicates that capital is moving off exchanges, with one insider transferring over 107.64 million H tokens, valued at more than $7 million, from KuCoin to external wallets in four separate transactions. Withdrawals from the exchange have surged from $4 million to $7.30 million since August 20th, while deposits have remained flat.
Adding to the momentum, CoinMarketCap data reveals a 30% jump in social mindshare, with top influencer mentions surpassing 1,050 at the time of reporting. These factors have combined to spike trading activity and push the token’s price higher.
On the charts, H has broken above a descending trendline resistance, signaling a short-term structural shift. This breakout propelled the price to $0.07272 before buyer strength waned, pulling it back to $0.06556. The Bull Bear Power (BBP) indicator has flipped red on the hourly timeframe, suggesting a decrease in bullish momentum.
Looking ahead, the asset may retest the breakout zone at $0.060. If that level holds, a move toward $0.090 is possible, facing hurdles at $0.075, $0.080, and $0.085, though the support may fail.
The primary risk to this outlook is the scheduled unlock of 269.74 million H tokens, worth approximately $17.50 million, set for September 25th. This amount, representing 2.70% of the total supply, is allocated to contributors, investors, and ecosystem programs, and such events typically introduce significant selling pressure that could derail the breakout.
