HYPE price bounces back but struggles near resistance after record Hyperliquid volume.

-

HYPE price trades at $55.68, up 2.47%, as Hyperliquid’s July perpetual volume reached $218 billion—higher than the next seven leading perpetual DEXs combined. The token sits below its 20-, 50-, and 100-day EMAs but above the 200-day EMA ($51.32). RSI recovered to 46.63, suggesting improving momentum. Open interest has fallen from $2.9 billion to around $2.3 billion, signaling reduced leverage. Resistance remains near $66.83. Meanwhile, CEX futures volume hit a low of $4.0 trillion in July, with one observer stating, “While CEX activity is shrinking, Hyperliquid is still growing.”

HYPE price has recovered from lows near $53–$54 to currently trade at $55.68, a 2.47% gain in 24 hours. The token remains below the 20-period EMA at $56.05, the 100-period EMA at $56.64, and the 50-period EMA at $58.43. It holds above the 200-period EMA at $51.32, which serves as key support.

Hyperliquid processed $218 billion in perpetual volume during July, according to Hyperliquid Daily. That volume exceeds the combined total of the next seven leading perpetual DEXs. HIP-3 RWA open interest surpassed $4 billion.

The platform’s growth contrasts with shrinking centralized exchange activity. According to CryptoRank, total CEX futures volume fell to $4.0 trillion in July, down from peaks above $10 trillion in late 2025. Hyperliquid Daily noted, “While CEX activity is shrinking, Hyperliquid is still growing.”

Resistance at $66.83 remains the major hurdle for HYPE. A sustained breakout above that level would support a turnaround. Open interest on Hyperliquid has declined from $2.9 billion in early July to approximately $2.3 billion, according to Coinglass, indicating less leverage despite the price recovery.

An upward move above $58.43 would improve short-term technical bias. A drop below $51.32 would weaken the broader setup. This article contains market analysis and price predictions—not guarantees. Crypto markets are volatile. Always conduct your own research.
