Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has launched new HYPE staking and Auto Earn features for its global clientele. The initiative, aimed at simplifying passive income, allows users to earn up to a 2.2% annual percentage yield through bonded staking without managing technical infrastructure. The expanded services are now available in markets including the U.S., U.K., EU, and Australia, marking a significant expansion of Kraken’s Earn ecosystem.
The cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has introduced new HYPE Staking and Auto Earn features to streamline passive income generation. This rollout significantly reduces the technical complexity traditionally associated with on-chain staking.
Users now have multiple pathways to earn rewards on Hyprliquid (HYPE) holdings. Bonded Staking offers an estimated return of up to 2.2% APY, which represents the highest potential payout.
Flexible Staking and Auto Earn options provide an estimated return of up to 1.1% APY while maintaining asset liquidity. All staking rewards are automatically compounded through a process of restaking.
Kraken manages the entire staking infrastructure and reward distribution for customers. This model is designed to eliminate technical barriers, allowing users to start earning with minimal effort.
“Staking HYPE often means locking up tokens, and we didn’t think holders should have to choose between earning rewards and keeping their tokens accessible,” the exchange stated in its official announcement. The new options aim to provide greater flexibility alongside rewards.
Director of Product for Kraken Earn & Trade, John Zettler, stated that Bonded Staking offers returns comparable to on-chain staking. This method simultaneously reduces complexity for the end user.
The service has been launched in several major markets, including the USA, UK, EU, and Australia. It will not be initially available in Canada or the UAE.
This expansion signifies Kraken’s commitment to growing its Earn platform. The move provides users with additional methods to generate value from their cryptocurrency assets.
