Monad (MON) extended its upward trend after buyers successfully converted the $0.027 resistance level into support on their third attempt, allowing the token to reach $0.03398 before retracing to $0.032257 at press time. The move brought the token close to its short-term exhaustion zone at $0.032758, with the Relative Strength Index at 69.23 approaching overbought territory. On the development front, Monad teased Privacy is coming ahead of its October 6 Open Summit, signaling advances in its privacy roadmap using zero-knowledge proof technology. Additionally, StraitsX announced plans to issue XSGD and XUSD natively on Monad in early 2027, potentially expanding the network’s payment infrastructure and stablecoin ecosystem, which currently holds approximately $692 million.
Monad‘s upward trend continued as buyers turned $0.027 from resistance to support on their third attempt. The token accelerated higher to $0.03398 with increasing volume, indicating greater buyer participation in the breakout.
At press time, Monad had retraced to $0.032257, bringing it close to its short-term exhaustion zone at $0.032758. Its Relative Strength Index stood at 69.23, nearing the overbought threshold.
If buyers maintain control above $0.027, the current breakout structure will remain intact. Losing control below $0.027 would eliminate the most significant technical improvement since the breakout began and raise the odds of a larger decline.
Monad’s breakout coincides with its privacy roadmap development. The project teased Privacy is coming on its official X page ahead of its October 6 Open Summit.
Monad’s existing development tools support private transactional capabilities using zero-knowledge proof technology. This establishes a foundation for expanding the privacy layer for the token.
The network is also expanding toward real-world payment infrastructure. StraitsX plans to issue XSGD and XUSD natively on Monad in early 2027, with XSGD becoming the network’s first Singapore dollar-denominated stablecoin.
StraitsX is also exploring cross-border payments and card programs utilizing these assets. Monad currently holds approximately $692 million in stablecoins, creating a foundation for launching additional asset types. If usage grows after launch, the integration could translate Monad’s stablecoin capacity into measurable payment activity.
