Pump.fun has launched GO, a bounty platform on Solana where users pay others to complete tasks. Within hours of its launch, hundreds of bounties appeared, with rewards as high as $50,000. The platform has already seen requests for everything from permanent tattoos to interviews with a murderer’s relatives, though actual payouts remain small.
The Solana meme coin launchpad Pump.fun has launched GO, a bounty platform where users can pay for any task. “Humans & money are undeniably the most powerful tools on Earth,” the company stated, adding it is combining both with this new service.
Users connect a social media account and wallet to post a task, locking rewards starting at $5 in escrow. At the time of reporting, GO listed 234 live bounties with an unclaimed pool of $118,000.
The highest remaining listing offered roughly $23,525 for an interview with a family member of a murderer or the lead police officer on the case. Other notable bounties included $15,204 to beat a running world record and $12,199 to organize a march through New York City.
Many tasks were bizarre or risky, such as streaking an NBA Finals game or setting a branded car alight. One user who completed a “Quit Your Job on Camera” bounty for approximately $2,876 wrote, “This was worth it for the sol.” Actual payouts have been modest, with the top earner collecting $487.
An expert suggested the platform’s escrow-and-moderation system may not prevent harmful bounties. “It feels like it is an attempt by pump.fun to retain users,” Musheer Ahmed of Finstep Asia said, comparing it to non-crypto task-based creators.
The launch formalizes a pay-for-stunts incentive that has previously led to controversy on the platform. Pump.fun had previously suspended and later revived its livestreaming feature after incidents involving harmful content.
