Real-world asset (RWA) trading drove 31.7% of new user activity on Hyperliquid in the first half of 2026, attracting 169,000 wallets. Notably, approximately 137,000 of those wallets remained concentrated on RWA markets, accounting for 80.9% of these new users, and did not diversify into assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum. This suggests RWAs may be a standalone destination within blockchain finance rather than just a gateway to the broader cryptocurrency space. At press time, HYPE was trading at $57.39, reflecting a 22.52% increase over the prior year.
Real-world asset (RWA) trading is emerging as a primary entry point for new users on Hyperliquid. According to data, RWA-related activity accounted for 31.7% of new users in the first half of 2026, drawing 169,000 wallets to the platform.
Of these new wallets, roughly 137,000 remained concentrated on RWA markets, representing 80.9% of RWA-driven users. These users did not diversify into assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum.
This pattern indicates that RWAs may serve as a standalone destination within blockchain finance. The performance of Bitcoin or Ethereum does not necessarily determine RWA adoption if users are engaging with blockchain platforms for traditional exposures.
Factors such as institutional involvement, regulatory changes, and user behavior could affect Hyperliquid’s wider adoption. HYPE was trading at $57.39 at press time, following a 22.52% increase over the previous year.
A break above the descending trendline could enable HYPE to move toward $57.21 and $60, while a loss of support might push it to $51.20. HYPE ETFs have recorded $15.16 million in outflows since launch, but inflows total $297.73 million.
In support of the accumulation narrative, Bitwise accumulated 28,085.8 HYPE from Nonco for its ETF clients, moving the tokens to its HYPE wallet.
