Bitcoin’s price rallied above $75,000 before a bearish push drove it approximately $1,000 lower. The asset now sits just under $1.5 trillion in market capitalization, maintaining a dominance above 57% over altcoins.
Most larger-cap altcoins produced impressive daily gains during this period. XRP emerged as the top performer from that cohort, climbing by 4% to $1.40.
Ethereum remains above $2,300 after a minor increase, and BNB traded north of $620. Other notable gainers included PEPE, DOT, NEAR, ICP, and AAVE, each surging by over 5%.
SIREN returned to the top 100 altcoins after a massive 16% pump. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization added over $40 billion from the previous day’s low.
