Treasury management startup Stable Sea has integrated WisdomTree’s tokenized money market fund into its platform. The integration allows corporate clients to automatically allocate idle cash to a yield-bearing fund backed by U.S. government securities. The tokenized fund, which has over $857 million in assets, offers a 3.43% daily yield and enables faster settlement through blockchain infrastructure.
Stable Sea, a treasury management startup, has integrated WisdomTree’s tokenized U.S. Treasury money market fund into its platform. The move aims to help businesses generate yield on idle cash rather than leaving it in low-yield bank accounts.
The company’s software automatically “sweeps” corporate cash balances into yield-bearing instruments. By integrating the WisdomTree Government Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), it extends that functionality to a tokenized fund that settles on blockchain infrastructure.
Companies access the fund through Stable Sea’s platform, which connects to existing financial systems. Clients still must complete standard compliance checks, reflecting the regulated nature of the underlying fund.
WTGXX invests primarily in short-term U.S. government securities and had total assets of $857.64 million as of April 28. WisdomTree data shows the fund offered a daily yield of 3.43%.
Tokenized money market funds are gaining traction as investors seek low-risk yield with operational flexibility. WisdomTree recently enabled 24/7 trading for WTGXX after receiving approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The use case is expanding beyond cash management. Franklin Templeton and Binance have partnered to allow tokenized funds to be used as off-exchange collateral.
Standard Chartered this week launched a framework enabling clients to use BlackRock’s tokenized Treasurys fund as collateral on OKX. Following the launch, Richard Baker, CEO of Tokenovate, stated that the move “signals another instance of tokenization’s transition into the heart of core market infrastructure, elevating it from innovation to something structurally transformative.”
