The company’s Bitcoin holdings now stand at 845,050 BTC, acquired after a recent purchase of 4,603 BTC on August 31st. These holdings are valued at approximately $65.83 billion at current market prices.

Alongside its cryptocurrency reserves, Strategy maintains $6.4 billion in USD assets. This combined liquidity cushion supports the company’s financial commitments and preferred stock obligations.

The STRC preferred stock’s Bitcoin credit is currently at 57 basis points, or 0.57%. This metric measures the credit risk or safety cushion behind the preferred stock, calculated using assumptions including a 10% annual Bitcoin return, 40% volatility, and a price of $77,266.

Strategy has also highlighted increased liquidity for its MSTR stock during its second Bitcoin cycle. The company stated, “Liquidity creates demand. Demand creates liquidity.”

Trading data shows a dramatic shift in MSTR’s market activity. During the first period, from August 2020 through 2023, average daily dollar volume was only about $0.3 billion, with annual figures ranging from $82 million in 2020 to $509 million in 2021.

After 2023, average daily trading volume jumped to $3.8 billion in 2024 and increased further to $4.7 billion in 2025. Year-to-date through September 11th, 2026, the figure stands at $2.8 billion, marking an approximately 13-fold increase in liquidity.

Market dynamics on the day of the repurchase showed MSTR stock trading at $130.97, up 1.87% in 24 hours. STRC stock was at $98.64, up 0.68% over the same period.

Bitcoin itself was trading at $77,850.93, up 1.4% in the last 24 hours. This price movement came a day after Saylor continued advocating for Bitcoin as a form of “digital capital” and a potential global reserve asset.
