Analysts predict Ethereum could surge past $2,000 amid growing market confidence.

-

Ether (ETH) gained 18.5% in July, currently trading near $1,850, and analysts expect a move above $2,000 in the short term. Holding the $1,800 level could trigger a rally to $2,000 and beyond, according to several market observers. The amount of ETH on centralized exchanges has fallen to a 10-year low of 15.1 million coins, reducing selling pressure. Some analysts argue that ETH is breaking a one-year downtrend, which may fuel a broader altcoin rally. Legislative progress on the U.S. CLARITY Act remains stalled, but the overall outlook remains bullish.

Ether gained 18.5% in July and is now trading around $1,850 after multiple attempts to break the $2,000 psychological level. According to X user Ted, spot buying is occurring, which he described as “a good sign” for a potential pump to $2,000 if that zone holds.

Michael van de Poppe shared a similar thesis, stating that holding $1,800 could lead to breaking the $2,000 barrier, after which “it’s a fast run to $2,300 and higher.” For their part, Celal Kucuker argued that ETH has “one of the strongest charts” he has ever seen, envisioning an explosion to as high as $13,000 in 2026‑2027.

The CLARITY Act, a long‑awaited U.S. crypto bill meant to give clear rules for digital assets, has stalled again after the White House failed to respond to a key counterproposal. Meanwhile, the amount of ETH stored on centralized exchanges continues to hover around a 10‑year low of 15.1 million coins, a bullish factor that reduces selling pressure.

Analyst Dami‑Defi believes ETH is about to break a one‑year downtrend, which could be a precursor to a substantial rally and may be bullish for the broader altcoin sector. X user Cup believes altcoins are poised for a serious pump, forecasting the biggest breakout of this cycle in the next few weeks.

Gordon noted that gold and silver have already had their moments of glory, adding that “bonds are cooked” and “stocks are looking weak.” He moved his focus to altcoins, claiming “this is where the biggest gains will be made next.”
