Quant Network Fusion Rollup Launches on Mainnet, Unifying 74 Blockchains for Institutions

-

Quant Network has launched its Fusion Rollup on mainnet, connecting 74 distinct blockchain networks into a single institutional multi-ledger system. The new infrastructure introduces unified assets like uUSDC to solve liquidity fragmentation, reduces dependency on external bridges, and provides a shared execution environment. The platform, designed for organizations, embeds compliance and governance across operations, offering a consolidated system for cross-chain execution and settlement.

It replaces traditional isolated blockchain models with a shared execution environment built for institutional requirements. The architecture supports governance, security, and scalability for organizations needing consistent settlement logic across multiple networks.

Fusion introduces unified assets like uUSDC and uBUIDL, consolidating fragmented tokens that exist as separate copies on different chains. This solves liquidity fragmentation and operational complexity by creating a single asset pool tethered to the initial chain.

Institutions handle only one balance, saving on reconciliation costs and increasing available liquidity. Any of these unified assets can be withdrawn from its native chain at any time.

The company recently rebranded Quant Connect as connect.overledger.dev for use within the Fusion network. The platform provides interaction capabilities with Overledger and integrates Flow Applications for signing, bridging, and executing smart contracts.

Workflows remain consistent regardless of the interface, backend, or AI agents used. Organizations can conduct sophisticated, multi-party transactions with governance and compliance built into each operational layer.

Access control is maintained using Overledger and the Fusion Firewall. This release minimizes dependency on bridges and their associated risks for developers and businesses.

The concept aims to increase institutional uptake of tokenized financial services. Fusion consolidates connectivity, settlement, and governance into one integrated cross-chain system, enhancing inter-blockchain capability.
