Tokenized stocks surge: $7.1B DEX volume, 45% of category

-

Three tokenized stocks generated $7.1 billion in decentralized exchange volume over the past 90 days, accounting for nearly 45% of the category’s total activity. SPY on Robinhood Chain surged 1,314% in 30 days to a $17.4 million market cap, while rGOOGL on Arbitrum rose 530.9% to $18.8 million and HOODb increased 428.7% to $5.7 million. The overall tokenized equities DEX volume reached $15.9 billion, up 1,250.8%. However, the International Monetary Fund warned that tokenization removes settlement delays, reducing time to catch errors.

Token Terminal reported that QQQb was the most traded tokenized stock over the past 90 days, with $4.5 billion in volume. SPYx followed at $1.5 billion and SPCXb at $1.1 billion, together accounting for 44.7% of the category’s $15.9 billion total.

The same source showed that SPY on Robinhood Chain gained the most ground over the past 30 days, jumping 1,314% to a $17.4 million market cap. rGOOGL on Arbitrum rose 530.9% to $18.8 million, while HOODb increased 428.7% to $5.7 million.

Other assets also posted large increases. MSTRb reached $53.8 million after rising 334.6%, making it the largest by market capitalization among the top five listed.

The activity builds on Robinhood Chain’s momentum since its early July launch, when the network topped $200 million in total value locked within its first week. Tokenized equities were already the fastest-growing category tracked by CoinGecko between January 2024 and May 2026, expanding from 14 listed coins to 478.

However, the International Monetary Fund warned in an April note that tokenization removes the settlement delays that normally give banks and regulators time to manage liquidity. The IMF argued that the efficiency gains come with less room to catch mistakes.
